I dance with the devil,
To the beat of a melancholy tune,
The steps are slow and graceful,
It is late evening,
The only light is that,
Of the blood red moon.
I dance with the devil,
With every moment,
I can spare,
The dance is magical,
With both of our wings,
Stretching out,
Gently caressing,
The midnight air.
I dance with the devil,
But he isn’t a devil at all,
I laugh, as we are so similar,
Humanity misunderstands us,
And we enjoy,
One another’s company,
Whether it be on Earth,
Or during a royal ball.
